Glasfryn Cottages -  Charming self catering cottages nestling on the Glasfryn Estate in an area of outstanding natural beauty.

‘Snowdon’s arm’, a wildly beautiful peninsula that wraps you in a strong embrace. Llŷn’s mix of culture and heritage, traditional farmsteads and little ports, beaches, bays and sea-cliffs is quite unlike anything else you’ll find in Wales – or elsewhere, for that matter

Glasfryn Fawr and Coach House each sleep up to 10 guests: Tan y Bryn up to 8 guests: Garden Cottage and Rose Cottage sleep up to 6 guests:

Glasfryn Cottages are charming, self catering cottages set on the private Glasfryn Estate close to Glasfryn Parc – North Wales’ premier activity centre. Sitting between Criccieth and Pwllheli with outstanding views across to Cardigan Bay, Glasfryn is the perfect bolt hole.  All the cottages on the Estate are exceptionally comfortable and have log burning fires. We can arrange a surprise for your special celebration, homemade ready meals if required and our aim is that you leave the hustle and bustle of daily life behind you. Whether you are looking for a romantic weekend break for two or an extended family holiday, sleeping between 6 and 10 guests, our cottages will suit you perfectly.  Glasfryn Fawr, Coach House, Garden Cottage and Rose Cottage are within walking distance of each other,  whereas Tan y Bryn is a little more "remote".

Our natural 13 acre lake teems with birds and wildlife for the private enjoyment of our guests. A delight for the amateur (and even professional) photographer.

We are ideally located for Abersoch, Aberdaron, Criccieth, Llanbedrog, Nefyn, Pwllheli, Porthdinllaen and Porthmadog. The 84 mile Llyn Coastal Path is on the doorstep. Glasfryn is the perfect base to explore the very best that this glorious area of outstanding beauty has to offer – Snowdonia National Park, Ffestiniog Railway, Welsh Highland Railway and the Italiante village of Portmeirion (which was designed by Clough Williams-Ellis - one of our forebears)  Castles at Caernarfon, Conwy, Harlech and Criccieth....and the Beaches....Black Rock Sands, Porth Oer Beach (Whistling sands), Llanbedrog, Abersoch and Criccieth, just to name a few. If you don’t want to venture too far, you can fish in the Wakeboarding lake at a small charge, or wander through the woodlands to your heart’s content.

Beds are made up for arrival and house towels are provided.  We are happy to accept one well behaved dog for a £50 charge on condition that he/she isn't allowed upstairs or onto the furniture
