The Coach House
"What an idyllic location, peace, quiet and an ever- changing vista full of wildlife. Loved watching the sheep whilst sitting on the wall down the lane with the sun setting behind the hills. The Coach House absorbs everyone into it like a comfy sofa – rooms to hide away, and rooms to be sociable.” Air BnB
This charming house sits among pine trees and formal grounds with clipped beech, box and yew hedges. There is a large garden to the back of the house which is perfect for al-fresco dining in the summer whilst enjoying the seclusion.
The Living Room overlooks the garden and has comfortable leather sofas and a large log fire (we provide our own logs). The Farmhouse Kitchen is exceptionally well equipped with range style cooker and pretty painted units. This leads onto the Dining Room which has been lovingly furnished with family antiques. The oak refectory table has plenty of room for 10 and is perfect for long suppers whilst planning the next day’s activities. The five upstairs bedrooms have all been individually furnished with comfort in mind. Three of the bedrooms have zip and link beds which can be made up as twins or a king size. Two of the bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and there is an additional family bathroom. No fighting for the views as they all have them. Collect eggs from our honesty box and say hello to Teddy the donkey!
The garden has just been extended across the path to offer even more outside space.
